I've been asked to invest in a friend's new bail bonds business but I'm a little frightened by the preposition. I would imagine the people bail bondsmen deal with are SCUM.

Am I wrong here? Any recommendations?

I have been in the business for over 28 years and it’s been good to my family and me. I can see why some people would first think SCUM, but actually 99.9% of the time you would be dealing with hard working moms and dads who have a kid jail on a first time offense.

There are many bail bondsmen in the US who are worth millions right now.

Grow the business carefully and slowly and always keep people around you who've been in the business for a long time.
